Votrelle is a trade name of Senden Corporation, registered in the Netherlands. We process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable United States privacy laws, including the CCPA.

  • Contact data: billing address, shipping address, email address and phone number.
  • Payment data: payment confirmation references. We do not store full card numbers; payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
  • Transaction data: details of the products you purchased and the payments you made.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, time zone and similar information.
  • Marketing data: your preferences for receiving marketing from us.

4. How we collect your data

  • Directly from you: when you place an order, create an account, contact us or sign up for emails.
  • Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our website.
  • From third parties: such as analytics providers, advertising networks, payment providers and delivery services.

5. Purposes and legal basis

  • Performance of contract: processing your order, arranging delivery and handling payments and returns.
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, website security and improving our store.
  • Legal obligation: for example keeping transaction records for Dutch tax purposes.

6. Sharing your personal data

Service providers: Shopify (store hosting and order management), Shopify Payments and the other payment providers shown at checkout, and analytics, advertising and email marketing providers.

Fulfillment partner: your order is produced and shipped by our fulfillment partner in China. To deliver your order, we share your name, shipping address and phone number with this partner. Without this transfer we cannot deliver your order.

Legal requirements: we may disclose information where required by law or by a valid request from public authorities.

7. International data transfers

Because Votrelle is registered in the Netherlands, serves customers in the United States and ships orders from China, your data is transferred internationally. For these transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission where applicable, and on the transfer being necessary to perform our contract with you.

8. Data security

We use appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being lost, misused or accessed without authorization. Our store is encrypted with SSL technology, and access to personal data is limited to parties who need it to fulfill your order.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary. Under Dutch law, transaction records are kept for 7 years for tax purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

10. Your rights

Residents of the EEA (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, transfer and object to the processing of your personal data.

Residents of the United States, including California (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Votrelle does not sell your personal data for money. We use cookies for advertising, which you can manage on our Your Privacy Choices page or in your browser settings.
